I also like the SW22 Victory, Buck Mark and MK II Ruger in that order.

I have 3 Ruger SR 22’s (one with a threaded barrel for a suppressor) and love them. I only wish they could hold more than 10 rounds. They function awesome and do well to train new shooters on semi auto firearms without the recoil concern.
I do want to try the new Glock in 22 to see if I should switch (I’m a Glock guy) then out.
Brings me to the question: anyone have the new Glock 44? Opinions? Can you get it with a threaded barrel like the Ruger?
You are smart to avoid giving a novice a .45. I have found that many novices are more comfortable with revolvers since nothing happens that they don't control.brandoneqy said:I only own .45s and it may not be the best for her to start with.
What do you suggest?
