I will second the Ruger MKII.
Excellent guns that will last forever.
A little pain to take apart for cleaning at first , but once you get the hang of it they are not that bad.

I will third the Ruger MKII. but I would go with the MKIV because they have changed the way it tears down! instead of hitting it with a hammer to separate the barrel its just a button. MKIV is the MKII with easy tear down!

I agree, I like my MKII but wanting a MKIV recently too for the simple fact it’s changed the rear down. I mean it wasn’t too bad before but sucked enough not to want to clean it in the regular
