Ok here’s something that’s never been discussed on a gun forum. Lubricants 🄸

Ok, I'll jump in first.
I used to use the super tactical lube of the day, then I got old and cranky.

For oil, I use 0W40 Mobil One leftover from an oil change a decade ago.
For grease, I use Lubriplate low viscosity food grade.
Sometimes I mix them up together.

Unless I'm drinking (again) and all bets are off.

:eusa-hand: Little known fact: The lord and savior John Moses Browning Used a thick coating of fumunda cheese on the slide rails of the first 1911 prototype. :eusa-think:

LMAO. Here is something I found a few winters ago.... Frog lube on any gun with tight tolerances sucks in cold weather. CZ and 2011 wouldn't run well with it. Switched to Lucas and all good.

Any gun with Froglube sucks. The stuff will oxidize and turn into a sticky mess. Just don't use froglube.

I use 10W30 to lubricate, protect and rustproof and a never-ending jar of grease from a trailer wheel bearing job eons ago.

I think all the gay "lubricant of the month" is just gay as s***.

Aren't you the guy that harps on those that use poor grammar?

I AM that guy. I can take it as well as dish it out. Please correct me and I will do better next time.

Left over synthetic engine oil, and high moly engine assembly lube. Used to be an auto mechanic---------------------------------->
