Ok here’s something that’s never been discussed on a gun forum. Lubricants

Ok, I'll jump in first.
I used to use the super tactical lube of the day, then I got old and cranky.

For oil, I use 0W40 Mobil One leftover from an oil change a decade ago.
For grease, I use Lubriplate low viscosity food grade.
Sometimes I mix them up together.

Unless I'm drinking (again) and all bets are off.

LMAO. Here is something I found a few winters ago.... Frog lube on any gun with tight tolerances sucks in cold weather. CZ and 2011 wouldn't run well with it. Switched to Lucas and all good.

Any gun with Froglube sucks. The stuff will oxidize and turn into a sticky mess. Just don't use froglube.

I'm using CLP for cleaner/oil. TW25b and Lubriplate 130 for greases.

I use 10W30 to lubricate, protect and rustproof and a never-ending jar of grease from a trailer wheel bearing job eons ago.

I use Hoppe's 9 and lithium grease.

Left over synthetic engine oil, and high moly engine assembly lube. Used to be an auto mechanic---------------------------------->

Super lube or clp for firearms. Folding knives & MTs get tuf glide.

I was sucked into the frog lube and had to convert all my guns back…what a mistake that was.
