4 Pro-Gun Bills. 4 Vetoes. One Message: Your Rights Don’t Matter.
Arizona has long been a stronghold for Second Amendment freedoms—but Governor Katie Hobbs is working hard to change that. In just the past few weeks, she’s vetoed FOUR pro-gun bills, each one designed to protect law-abiding gun owners.
Here’s what she said NO to:

SB 1014 – Legalizing Suppressors: Safer ranges, better hearing protection, especially for new shooters and kids. Hobbs vetoed it over “potential misuse.”

SB 1020 – Campus Carry: Adults with CCW permits—many of them veterans or women at higher risk of assault—would have been allowed to carry on public college campuses. Hobbs said no.

SB 1143 – Financial Privacy for Gun Buyers: This would’ve stopped government snooping on your firearm purchases through credit card tracking. Hobbs vetoed it, implying you’re a suspect until proven innocent.

SB 1705 – Preemption Enforcement: This would’ve fined cities that violate Arizona’s gun laws with local restrictions. Hobbs says local governments should decide if your rights apply.

Arizona gun owners: are you okay with this?
Let your legislators and your governor know where you stand. Because your silence is their permission.
