I ordered some primers and they were shipped fed ex. Their tracking and notifications kind of suck. I dont recall if it was always that way but Hazmat needed signature. They were scheduled to deliver on Saturday. Saturday Morning I woke up and they sent me an email saying my package was updated and would arrive on the 15th.
Cool .. went out with the wife to shoot pictures.
Get back and get a notification that they attempted delivery. Ugh .. then I get a notification that it has been updated since I was not home to sign for it and would be delivered the 16th.
Ok .. Not in a rush so 16th is fine
Yesterday we are in front of the TV Playing Far cry4 and my wife goes to get something from the kitchen and yells to me .. FED EX!
So she runs outside as the guy is leaving the "We tried to deliver" note. Didnt hear any knocking but ??
Anyway got the primers but that was a long winded way to ask a question that maybe one of you has the answer to.
I understand that Fed Ex has partners like the UPS store and you can go to the fed ex site and ask them to leave the package there. Dont know for sure but I Think so. IF this is an option .. has anyone ever tried it and have you tried it with hazmat stuff that requires a signature. Will the local Office depot or UPS store accept it?
Just easier for me to go pick it up than do the watch for driver thing.
