The election was a near split between the Republicans and the Democrats. The electoral college system has alienated millions of rural voters in California and New York. The election boils down to a few battleground states every time. I never have liked it. In a popular vote everybody's vote would count, including the liberals in Utah. The faithless electors are what bothers me the most. That should have been gotten rid of a long time ago

And the vote in 2000, and 2016 are prime examples WHY our forefathers created a system of delegates.

I understand most other politicians. Politics is a golden goose. How else do you get paid hundred grand a year and become super wealthy? I don't care how good you are at investing... these guys get rich off of politics. Biden is in no uncertain terms a crook but he is surrounded by other crooks so everyone keeps it on the down low. I am sure a bunch of lifetime politicians joined the fight to make changes and then were seduced by the money and became ho's.

but Trump has a job. He doesn't need the Money to be gained from peddling influence. Sure more money is always good but its not like his primary gig had him suffering.

I can say that one of the libertarian county chairs who I know keeps insisting nothing shady has gone on with the ballot counting. I'm sure that part is fine but what about where the ballots came from and people who are temporary residents being able to vote in the state. The fact the GOP here isn't doing enough shit about it makes me extremely frustrated.
