I have quite a few Cimarron,Taylor,Uberti guns but have not pulled the trigger on the Schofield yet. Its on my list. I assume it will be like the others kind of hit and miss. Jim Perkins at Classic Single Actions has a very interesting article about all of the single actions available in the market. I highly respect his opinion and its worth reading. I have read on the internet that some of the schofields have issues that need "correction" tight actions, cylinders getting jammed after firing certain loads, really stiff triggers. But that is like everything internet rumors not first hand experience. The price is so high on them i would hope there not gonna require another 200.00 of action work but it would not surprise me.
Let me know if you get one or find any more pertinent information.
