I don't get too carried away with triggers for AR's but I do use the CMC 3.5lb Curved Single Stage trigger. I've used many of them for years and have thoroughly enjoyed them. I also have a Trigger Tech Adjustable Flat trigger in one of my AR's and am currently playing around with it to see how I like it. So far I don't think I like it as much as the CMC.

I've tried 2 stage curve, 2 stage flat blade the closest I've gotten to since stage curved is the TT 2-5lb trigger with its very short 1st stage. Took a while to get used to but overall it's a nice trigger. My favorite is still the SSA-E.

For a rifle that is going to be shot from a bench or other structured competitive use I'd use (and do) an SSA-E.

For a rifle that is not going to be a target gun - the Larue MBT is my choice.

For a duty rifle, I'm probably buying a high end AR with a high quality factory trigger so that if it ever gets used I don't get accused of installing a super-duper-extra-dangerous "hair trigger" making me a bloodthirsty evil monster.
