Not sure. I THINK I counted seven shots; she missed the first six (where did they go?) and hit him with shot number seven.
But I may be wrong. I often am; ask my wife.

In the comments is says that he took one bullet to the upper thigh. I'm sure the folks in the apartments behind him were happy to get some free copper and lead...

I hate that there are times when I have to call a cop an idiot - but there are times - and this is one of them. I really only see two options here:
1) She has absolutely horrific marksmanship - like complete incompetence (unable to put any of her first six shots into a large target within probably 15 feet - finally putting one in his leg). This was not some situation where she was wounded - or he was firing at her while she sought cover - or... Her handling of the gun tells me that this is probably the more likely scenario.
2) She has HORRIBLE judgement - if she was firing "warning shots" - intentionally missing shots by winging them into the wood paneled apartments behind him...

In either case - she's a really poor excuse for a cop. Get some training (in either case) - or get a new job (and depending on what her performance has been like prior to this event - maybe the "new job" option should be chosen for her)...
