Are people that stupid? They go to a hotel and leave their guns out for the housekeepers to find?

Or were the cops suspicious, and persuade the hotel manager to tell the housekeepers to go in, so they could bypass the requirement for a warrant?

Or was one of the group members an informant who wanted them to get caught?

Something just doesn't sound right about criminals leaving their guns out so maids can find them.

Something ain't right about this, I'm with you. When you pay for a room, you're entitled to 4th amendment protections, and a maid seeing guns is gonna be hard for the DA to prove nefarious intent for the warrant.

Yup...not getting the whole story, I'm sure. No way I would hole up 16 guns and body armor and have maid service fix my room lol. Sounds like a bullshit story for media attention on gun control.

Every major hotel books as many small trade shows and conventions as possible. Most major ones will be running shows year round with no break.

At the Display house back in NY we produced large scale graphics among our other offerings and sold Graphic frames. Our bread and butter was hard wall large scale custom displays but we werent going to turn our nose up at a few extra bucks.

You have all seen these somewhere



They come in a nifty hard plastic, very durable roll case which usually turns into the lectern kind of thing.



They are small enough to fly and for a single salesperson to handle and take with them. Even fit in the trunk of a cab. So a company sends out a single person for a bit and he can transport and even install the entire thing himself. To save costs .. he usually brings it to his/her room.

NO hotel employee at any half way sizable hotel would even blink at it they are so ubiquitous.

They will hold all the guns and ammo you ever want to bring.

And I read they asked for a room change to a room that faced the alley so zero threat to patrons of sporting events. Just more jingle jangle BS to show how dangerous guns are and " Be Afraid"

On a lighter note.. if you are going to be a career criminal ... Forget the tats especially neck and facial tats. Wear Dockers and loafers, comb your hair and blend. I always thought the best getaway car wouldnt be a mustang but a Ford focus driving the speed limit
