First, they took the bump stocks, and then they went after the 80% lowers. Now they're after the pistol braces, although, I know this probably isn't a surprise to anyone here.

Up until this point, the ATF has criticized specific brace models that they deemed too close to the design of a stock, and then there was the limitation to the firearms configurations where they wouldn't allow vertical foregrips to be mounted. Now they're about to drastically tighten the scope of what is a legal configuration of a pistol with a brace before it's deemed an SBR. It sounds like the new limitations could involve caliber, magazine capacity, magnified optics, bipods, and more.

This is NOT about braces. The ATF is coming after A.T.F. (All The Firearms), so I hope people fight this and stand against any new restrictions from those gun grabbers.

They didn’t event wait for a Biden admin to use the same tactic that Trump used when he told the doj to ban bump stocks. Why am I not surprised.

This needs a judicial review ASAP.

Here's a draft of the letter referenced in the video.

All the firearms? Or just the ones that have braces or were made from an 80 percent?

I believe they're ultimately coming after pretty much everything, and that they're just eating that elephant one bite at a time.

By the way, yelling at anyone is not going to change the ATF's stance. Put down the pitchforks and don't let emotions at what you're invested in, control you. Which begs the question, OP, do you own anything with a brace or an 80 percent?

I had a braced AR that I got rid of recently, and I don't currently have anything in these categories. This doesn't even directly apply to me, but again, I see it as just the next stepping stone as they come for all ARs and semi-auto rifles, magazines over a certain capacity, and so on and so on. Does that seem irrational?

And Tim is a bit of a drama queen. Actually a lot of a drama queen, right up there with the Yankee Marshal.

So in other words, roll over and take it. That's the whole problem with the right, we just sit down and calmly do nothing while the left riots and burns. Guess which one always gets what they want.

I’m sure the NRA will be along any moment to have another donation drive!

As to registering them, nope, registration leads to confiscation.
I’m all out of “compromise”.

I agree that registration is not an option, but I'm afraid that not enough gun owners will have the backbone to oppose it. I guess we'll see what happens.
