I need to find a local (greater PHX) Luger collector/expert. For many years there were 1 or 2 that had tables at the 3-Day SAR PHX shows. I haven't gone to SAR since '19 so not sure if those guys are here and/or local. If anyone knows of such a person please let me know.
The reason I ask is I was left a .30 Luger in a will.

It is an obvious old refinish from WWI or WWII. Grips are repros. I just would like to find out its value. T.I.A.

The only Luger guy I know is in Prescott. His father was one of the dudes you saw at the shows regularly until he passed away shortly before Covid happened.

If you are willing to send detailed pictures of the pistol and its markings, I can pass them along and get his opinion for you. It shouldn't cost anything.

For whatever reason, I can't seem to enlarge these photos. When I click on them to try to go to Imgur, all I get is a blank black screen.

Anyways, even with these pictures there is much that can be told;...for instance that it appears to be a commercial model made by DWM. But it cannot seem to be discernible in the photo of the top what markings are (or at least should be) on the top of the receiver just over the barrel where it screws into the receiver, just forward of the toggle bolt. There should be a date or a date code. Either the glare of the lights is obscuring it or it is in fact blank, which would be very unusual.
