New info coming out via Greg Lapin at FIELDCRAFT SURVIVAL (Mike Glover's outfit). He claims to have inside source from within the Secret Service community. Among the new nuggets of info;...

1. The counter-snipers on video we have all see are [highlight=yellow]NOT[/highlight] the ones who fired. They never got off a round. It was a different team not on video, and the weapon used was a Stoner SR-15 in 7.62Nato.
2. The optic use by the assassin was an EO Tech without any magnifier.

I've heard at least 2 sources, including Dan Bongino, deny this. All snipers and police in general are free to engage with deadly force upon perceiving a deadly threat.
