Oops!

Dry picture does say serpentine. Which is what a guy at the rock shop thought.

I’ll head to his shop on Friday.

The one I downloaded seems pretty accurate. It even was able to identify a Brachiopod. I’ve collected several specimens over the years. So I didn’t think this would identify a fossil, but it did.

Be careful with that, if it's serpentine, the layering may be indicative of chrysotile mineralization.

Chrysotile is an asbestos mineral. Breathing it is bad.
