I know that this has probably been covered, just wondering what's your opinion on these.
bushmaster or ati omni Kaiser or the revamped professional ordnance

Thank you

I have a couple, never had a problem, but I would build it, and not take them apart dozens of times. I imagine that over time, the tolerances might widen over time and multiple disassemblies.

I would look for a cav arms lower. I think it's the best polymer lower out there. Unfortunately, their castings wore out and they were supposed to get new ones, it never happened so you would have to search the secondary market.

One of my partners got one, i dont recall the make, and it was the worst thing to happen to an ar since the democratic party. For the cost spend a bit more on palmetto and get a real one

I have one I built from a lower from New Frontier Armory years ago. I bought the polymer lower from them and it sat in my safe for a while, then I finally finished a year or so ago but have not had the chance to shoot it yet due to health problems, but I have a friend who built he same one I have and has shot probably 1K rounds through it with no problems.

Polymer lowers are great for a small fire fight. That's it. So I would build one zero it and leave it for my war stock. Definitely not my everyday.

I always liked the CAV lowers. Right LOP with the A1 length stock and nothing to pinch my beard.

I have a couple "Plum Crazy" lowers as well, have shot the hell out of them and no problems with them. I did add the external pin braces to eliminate any wobble over time, and have never had a problem with them.

I broke 2 at the rear take down pin area one was omni i forget the other spend $20 more on aluminum.

when AR's and AR parts were scarce, these were around, so I bought a couple lowers as spares.

unfortunately, they all went down in an unfortunate boating accident at Lake Pleasant and I no longer own any...

Years ago, my friend and I each built one on plum crazy lowers and both experienced the holes for the hammer pins widening over time. After about 500 to 600 rounds the things became garbage.
Tried to contact manufacturer but never heard back. Chocked it up as a loss. Live and learn.

I now always go mil spec or better and never regret it. With the price of anderson/psa aluminum lowers, why go polymer?
I found the weight difference to be marginal.

If I may ask, what is your personal attraction?

i've a few of the first plums, both have over 1k or 2, and so far no issues, same with cav arms lowers, have a couple of those also, got in on the liquadation sale.

I too have a 1st gen plum and it has about 500 to 600 in it and I haven't cleaned it in 2 yrs. The basturd just keeps running. Mind you I shoot steel out of it as well and it's just the gift that keeps on giving.
