The English actor Edward Woodward, known to most American audiences as the original Equalizer from that early 80s TV show, also stared as an Australian cavalry lieutenant under English courtmartial. (The incident is famous in Australia and led to the policy that no Aussie military personnel shall ever be tried under any jurisdiction but Australian.) In Dogs of war the native mercenaries used Uzis. Not all were actually UZIs but were "movie magically transformed" from what gun into UZIs.

Bonus round...
Also in dogs of war they used a device they called the XM-18. What was the real name of the original device they used as a multi launcher.
