I have never had a Magpul fail to function in my AR15 so there is no reason to use anything else. I typically put 25 cartridges in them.

Never had any issues with a magpul. I also run metal mags and have had very few issues. I abuse my mags so magpul for me all day.

Neither,... I got into Cammenga steel 20 round mags over a decade ago,... and, haven't had a need to replace them, yet.

But, I don't shoot as often, as most do.

Had a buddy using usgi mags and loaded a 300 AAC into his 556 upper and the upper exploded but the mag stayed intact, if it were a magpul mag, might have been a different story

I was sold when I saw the P-mag versus the chevy truck. Never had a single hiccup with P-mags.

In my experience USGI mags will suddenly have feedlip spread that will cause an FTF at the worst possible time. I prefer PMAGs and Lancers.

I use both Pmags and Okay Industries GI mags. Never had any real problems with either one. They are both inexpensive so I buy them all the time and stack them deep.

What do I use? If I’m just going out to shoot rocks, then it is whichever I grab (mostly Al gi mags). To me that is mostly what I’m doing so price is the determining factor as to which ones I use.

I have always used Pmag until I got my hand on some Colt 20rd metals. I can say that I prefer those over the polys now
