Terrible news for his family. I'm sure by now they are in the process of mortgaging their house and their business for the bail and the attorney's, of which he will need at least one criminal and one civil. As of today, he will be facing one criminal and at least 3 civil trials. Use of the rifle is going to complicate his defense. Most of us old enough to think, knew this was not going to have a good look or result, in the short term or the long term.

I suspect that this will not end well for the shooter, his family, his friends, firearm ownership in general, or Kenosha. I just wonder whose rifle it was, could not have been legal property of a minor. Yikes - would not want to be in their prison jumpers if convicted - gonna be a long time before seeing the light of day... that is unless the President pardons/expunges after conviction in his second term.

In one of the videos you can see him attempting to surrender to LE's mounted on armored vehicles...they ignored him and told him to get out of the way. IMO, he didn't flee...he went home after the LEO's ignored him.

watched a couple of the videos, kid had good trigger discipline, decent form, and tried to surrender to LEO's immediately following discharging his weapon.

if you look at all the photos, especially the one of the idiot shot in the arm, the kid was definitely in fear of his life and under attack.
