I signed up for a membership a couple of weeks ago since I live close to the Scottsdale location, and so far so good. It's a pretty nice range as far as indoor ranges go. The only bummer is that I think they closed every other lane right now with the social distancing, so the lanes get filled up quickly. You have to reserve the lanes a little ahead of time, or you might have to hang out a while if you do a walk in.

Not too bad with ear plugs and muffs as it wasn't too busy. Then a guy next to the wall and me started shooting his AR which reminded me why I don't like shooting indoors.
But, I did like the fact that I got to shoot and the AC was cranked so high, I was actually getting cold with my short pants on. Kinda pleasant that way.
Me and junior shot our fill in the hour we had. He even told me it made him realize he needed more practice. Plus we got rid of some of my ammo and I didn't care how much he shot.

I can relate. Definitely not as nice as shooting outdoors, but sometimes a necessary evil. I took a rifle to C2 a couple of weeks ago to test out a trigger I worked on, but the rifle had a muzzle brake. I made the mistake of loading up a full 30 round mag, and it took everything in me to finish it off. The noise was really loud (with one layer of ear pro), and the percussion from the muzzle blast bouncing off the walls made it feel like I was getting smacked in the face every round I fired. Truly, an unpleasant experience.
