I dont know .. I love a good sense of humor. Hell I like your visits because I like your dry sense of heady humor!
but .. I just feel a little disgusted by some of these posts.
Who hasnt joined something that required some sort or tribute to be a part of. Basic training, joining any sports team or academic team, shoot even validating yourself among new work peers. Just kind of makes me sad ... what has become of people and especially young men.
Yes .. you dont always get what you want when you want it and some times you have to pay some dues to prove you have skin in the game.
Its been made clear in the pin on the classifieds area that this was not intended to be a "classifieds" site. If you read that and are still pissed off because you don't want to commit to the minimum requirements which are pretty damn minimum you are just in the wrong place. It clearly says so.
But no " you have to let me in and do as I want anyway" Just weird and really sad.
I don't go to a wedding dress place to buy sneakers. Why come to a social site about guns and get upset when its not a classifieds site when it clearly says its not a classifieds site.
I dont find it funny .. I kind of find it sickening.

The cool thing about it being a social board first and a selling board second is you get to kind of know the people you are dealing with. While I dont sell a ton here or buy a ton here the exchanges I have had have all been AWESOME! Mostly because you know ahead of time who and what they are.
If someone cant see the value in that then they should try and find a board more like backpage.

I have always enjoyed the confidence that a smaller group of well vetted buyers and sellers brings. I only buy from licensed dealers and a couple groups like this one. Less BS and reputations are well earned.
Only one time, in what 15 plus years with this core group between the 2 sites, have we had one real problem. That is a legal issue with a gun or item. I'm not talking about flakes but they are flushed out pretty quick because this isnt a primary selling site and people care about reps and relationships.
There are more scams on the pure selling sites some days than actual legit guns for sale.
