America is great about allowing everyone a shot to realize thier vision. Having researched several sites and having drawn your conclusion on what makes a site successful for it's visitors and hence monitarily successful for the site operator feel free to invest a considerable amount of time and money and start your own site.
As a stupid boomer ... If I visit someone's home and they ask that I take off my shoes before entering I can choose to respect thier rules or leave.
I don't stand on thier doorstep and create a scene yelling at the quickly closing door that thier rules are stupid, that I know better how they should run thier home and stamping my feet because they won't change the rules just for me.
Guess I wasn't taught such entitlements but then we still had kiddie tables when I was young

Only one didn't go away. I thought from the start he'd want to have things his way, so I told him before I started that either he could design the GUI or I would and if I did it and he wanted to change it later, he would have to pay by the hour to get it changed.
He waited until it was done, checked it carefully, took a half a day as it was a huge amount of programming and GUI, was satisfied everything worked, then whipped out a dozen single spaced sheets of paper with how it wanted it changed.
He paid a bundle to get that changed and bitched and moaned the whole time about how unfair it was.
