Explain how receiving 34% of the vote in a two-candidate race puts one candidate ahead.

You finally got something right - I drastically overstated your intelligence by comparing you to a potato.

34% doesn't start out with an advantage over Dems then just need to persuade a few of the non-party voters.

AZ GOP had good candidates, but the minimal thinkers voted them out during primary. Now those same voters can't believe what's happening. Rather than blame some machines, media, weather, people moving from other states, or just the complaint of moment, take a look at the candidates, most likely the loss is due to a bad candidates.

The Trumpicans (e.g. Lake, Masters, Finchem, Hamadeh) are beyond bad they're pathetic candidates.

Since your so smart you should have seen the numbers from primary showed that Lake would need ~70% of the voters for Taylor Robson, if you didn't, I think we might have overstated your intelligence.

Oh well, maybe next time.

Oh, so it’s not “just voting by party” that puts the candidate ahead? Good to know, considering that’s not what you said originally. Before casting judgment on my intelligence, maybe you should repeat 1st grade and learn the difference between “your” and “you’re.”

I attend an AZ public school, I've always had an issue with proof reading, I find the bugs during compile & run.

Don't matter the whole point is you now understand the intent. Simple good candidates get votes, bad candidates don't.

Anyone that thought the AZ Trumpicans were going to win, took out some long shot odds. Dems didn't have to really do anything just let the Trumpicans babble on enough to burn the bridges.

Also, my casting judgment on your intelligence pales in comparison to your very witty remarks.

So, are you MAGA fanatics “tired of winning yet” cuz’ I sure as hell ain’t tired of gloating!

These damn cliffhanger news casters going on and on about the AZ elections...

Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Florida have had their results for days already, so WTF?!?

Just let us know how much we lost by, how it was all Trump's fault, and let us fret and b**** about how things used to be before the blue wave destroyed our state.

Dragging this all out is just making it seem even more dirty and corrupt, kinda like 2020, right?

Maybe if our State “leaders” only had the balls to stand up to it.

Most of our elected leaders are satanic pedophiles and are owned. They cant do anything because their blackmail material would be released

I forgot one other point. If you are on welfare, you don't get a vote. You are sucking the tit of the government and want to continue to suck, just like a democrat, ruining our country.

How about if you dont own property in that state you dont get to vote in the state election or any election that can change our taxes for income, property, schools and so on. Federal elections only for non property owners and it would stop all the ballots that get mailed to apartments people have moved out of. Did a search with the dog at a apartment complex and there were a ton of ballots in the garbage cans by the mailboxes, over 50 ballots. Manager is repub and was going to secure trash them.

This is a drastic measure, but I agree !

I've got some fantastic ideas for solutions, problem is, they're harsh, and people are weak.

1. Treat votes like guns, if you register to vote, you also get a background check to get your CCP. You'll be issued a dual Voter Reg/CCP card. You don't have to vote, you don't have to carry a gun, but we can be more assured there's no one voting that shouldn't be.

2. Anyone on public assistance taking tax payer funds other than SS has their right to vote removed until such time as they are off those funds. This way, the leeches can't vote themselves more.

3. Put the voting age back to 21 like it was to begin with.

The other idea that won't happen would be for states to quit paying their public employees retirement pensions unless they resided in the state. The taxpayers in that state funded it, they should also get the benefit of having the taxes of those folks stay in state as well. Too many yankees and West Coast idiots are living the good life here on behalf of those they left behind. If you want your pension, stay in the state. If you return to the state, your benefits are no longer rescinded.

Masters and Finchem are definitely done. Lake is hanging in there but things are trending the wrong way. In other great news, we’re adding yet another bureaucrat that’ll receive a decent salary and outrageous pension for doing nothing. Oh, and instead of deporting illegals, we’re going to make it cheaper for them to go to college here than a kid from a neighboring state. Amazing how all of these dipshits from blue states move here because their home state has become uninhabitable, and then they continue to vote for the same s*** that ran them out of their home.

I’ve lived here my entire life and never really thought about moving because I didn’t want to live in some liberal cesspool, but now that Arizona has turned that way, it’s definitely made some other states look way more appealing. It might be time to make our second home our primary home.

It’s too bad that states can’t amend their constitution to disallow any person who has previously registered to vote in another state from participating in elections for representatives of the state. Basically, if you don’t like the way s*** turned out in your home state, you don’t get to move and f*** up another state.

YOU THE MAN! WHAT A GREAT IDEA! I’M ALL FOR THAT! Because that way we could disqualify MOST of Arizona voters who came here from other states (FYI-I’ve ONLY registered in Arizona)! For example you know all those militia goofs in the Prescott area? Most of them moved here from California cuz’ they decided “From My Cold Dead Hands” sounded better on a bumper sticker than in real life and they ran away. So to REALLY expand your with really great idea if you previously registered to vote in another state you also CAN’T RUN FOR OFFICE! So that excludes ARPAIO, LAKE, FINCHEM, MASTERS, DOOCEY, and most everyone else on both sides of the ticket. Cuz’ frankly most of Arizona’s problems have been caused by invaders from other states so let’s force them out.

So, you don’t believe in all that horsesh!t the Founding Fathers believed in i.e. that rights are “God given” and are “inalienable”?

Bill Maher and George Carlin also agree with you

That statement doesn’t track history. It’s been well documented that the Founding Fathers wrestled with the same issue of who should have a vote. States were given control of the vote and only allowed white property owners to vote, so…
