I'm thinking about building a P320
I saw a website somewhere that was talking about aftermarket slides and how they can affect reliability. Sig even has their own Pro Cut, with quite a few windows in the slide too.
I also see Jagerworks will mill the rear sight dovetail in the front or back of the optic.
For those of you who have done it (on any gun for that matter) without the dot in use, do you like it better or worse? Seems like on the compact it would even be a shorter sight radius and even less accurate, maybe like shooting on a 3" barrel.
Do you have an aftermarket slide on a P320, and is it running well?
Thanks in advance for your input and opinions.

I have no experience with aftermarket Sig slides.

But I do have experience with the full and compact Sig slides. I'm actually better shooting the compacts but not so much with the full slides. Which is weird, because I shoot Glocks full size way better than Glock compacts.
Yes, I've found surprisingly great accuracy the compact/carry, not much comparison with Glock, but seem to be decent with a G48

I have a P320 X CARRY, but I do not at the current time have a after market slide. However I may need one in the near future (Long Story). I'm marking this thread for further reference.

I have an M-18, Wilson frame , Gray guns spring and trigger kit. the M-18 is already cut for a red dot. that said there are several that make or modify the slide. https://www.armorycraft.com/sig-sauer-flat-adjustable-triggers ; I have some stuff from them, they make nice stuff. https://sigparts.com/Default.aspx also make sig parts but I don't have any yet. https://www.zevtechnologies.com/ These guys seem to make some nice stuff, you might want to check them out. Good luck
