Wow. I thought it was a crap shoot and could go either way as long as the defense did their jobs with the proper experts, which I dont think they did. They hardly put on one at all. Can you say ineffective counsel appeals?
Prosecutors were smart to charge manslaughter since it only requires a 6 person jury with less chances for hung jury members vers a 12 person panel, but still end up with a first degree felony conviction, the gun involved kicked it up, with a 10 plus year minimum and up to 30 max.

Oh yeah I hope the racist white privilege shit ends for a while since an all white jury convicted a white man of killing a black guy. Hopefull but not optimistic .
Anyways a kid watched his dad killed over nothing. Lots of fail to go around and none of it had to happen.
