Here in Lake Havasu City, I'm a member of the Lake Havasu City Sportsman's Club. I just received an E-Mail this past week, stating all of the shotgun ranges, (Trap, Skeet, & 5-Stand Sporting Clays), were all closed until further notice. An ATA Trap shoot they had scheduled for early April has also been cancelled. There was no mention of the rifle and pistol ranges, so I'm assuming they are still open.

How is the status of the clubs around your area?

<To ensure the safety of customers and staff, the Ben Avery Shooting Facility will close temporarily, beginning Saturday, March 21. The temporary closure will give staff the opportunity to implement new health protection strategies. The facility is scheduled to reopen Thursday, March 26.>

Of course, they may or may not extend that, depending on the news this week, and whether our Dear Governor orders us all to Cower In Place.

Scottsdale Gun Club still open, but with shorter hours.

C2 Tactical in Tempe is open with no restrictions I'm aware of.

Rio Salado is open but requires 6 feet between shooters. The shotgun clubhouse is closed except for the restrooms and hand washing.

The 6 feet rule is pretty easy to adhere to when the benches are spaced such as they are.

I heard Ben Avery closed this last weekend, supposed to be only for a week or so.

Hey bill460 - would you make our avatar bigger, having a hard time seeing what you look like. :D

Tri State range in Bullhead City, Az. closed to the general public, members only at this time until further notice. Seven Mile range outside of Kingman is still open for business

Now that's whack....as if buying a membership somehow conveys immunity to the virus. I think they're using the whole 'virus lockdown' thing as an excuse to make people 'join the club'.

just one way for them to minimize show ups, members will probably stay away for most part and if public is no bueno, well there you have it, the ''click'' will be in control of the day

on another note, our outdoors range yesterday was not impeded by any gubermint control, we showed at 7 am shot till 4pm and then drove home, what a day. gotta love America

My desert spot is still open and will be till forever. Went Sunday and didn't see another living soul all day (except the wife); had a great time. We killed a boat load of commie steel and cans. Gotta love America (at least the desert where we go).

From Ben Avery just now:
Although the range is closed, we are open to all User Groups.

IOW, public range closed, but matches etc. can go ahead.

lol, so much for it being a "PUBLIC'' range, what a fudging the general public gets, another reason i have no use for the place.

It's really nice to know we have a place like Ben Avery.

Too bad it really sucks to go there and try to use it.

They are now closed until at least the middle of next week. I wouldn't hold your breath..

Phx Rod and Gyb club has shut down their non members range time on weekends. Now it is members only.

Scottsdale Gun Club is still operating with modified hours. Courses however have all been shutdown until further notice.

The Prescott Sportsman's club lost their range in Chino Valley in September of 2018 right after we Pais our dues. There was a squabble between the old guard and a new group that tried take control of the club. issue turned into a corurt battle. Chino Valley then took control. Haven't had a decent place to shoot since then.

How exactly did this happen? Why did they close the range because of it? 2 groups of members locked in a power struggle, hardly seems like a reason to cease function of the entire range. Especially after all the members just paid their dues. What is the cities intention about what to do with it? Besides to screw everyone out of their dues. That in itself sounds like a good court case.

Rio Salado shut down their combo field for a while. The combo field is where they do wobble trap, trap and 5 stand.

The Sporting Clays range and all rifle/pistol ranges are still open.

Joe Foss Shooting Complex is closed. Management will reassess next week and determine if it will remain closed or reopen. Keep your eye on the Joe Foss link at asrpa.com.
