Rio Salado shut down their combo field for a while. The combo field is where they do wobble trap, trap and 5 stand.

The Sporting Clays range and all rifle/pistol ranges are still open.

I got this in yesterdays email...

To our valued Members and Staff,
Here is an update as to what is happening at the Club regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and Governor Ducey’s recent “Stay at Home Order”. Again, I can’t over emphasize that the safety and well-being of our members, staff, and community is our paramount focus. Our Executive Board is continually monitoring recommendations and guidelines set forth by the Federal, State, and local governments.

The most recent of those actions is our Governor’s Executive Order 2020-18.
Executive Order 2020-18 promotes physical distancing and builds upon health precautions that have already been implemented. This Order states that all individuals in the State of Arizona shall limit their time away from their residence except to participate in or conduct essential activities or business. According to the Federal and State governments firearms related businesses are considered essential to the safety and security of the community. Therefore, Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club will remain open during the Governors Order.

While the Club has taken measures to provide physical distancing, additional measures need to be implemented. In accordance with the Governor’s Order, as of 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2020 until April 30, 2020, RSSC will cancel or postpone all activities related to divisional matches, commercial user groups, and activities that have an organized group of people. The only exception to this is sanctioned law enforcement and government training. The following areas will remain operational for the members and the public to safely practice and train with your firearms:
1. The Main Public Range
2. The Member Ranges (for personal use)
3. The Sporting Clays Course

RSSC will continue to take protective measures to keep you and your family safe and healthy during these challenging times. The shooting community has always been and will continue to be an important part of safety and security for our nation. Our ability to implement proactive measures in this area is something we all can be proud of.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding,
Scott Krushak
President
