I bought two firearms last week (tombstone tactical & Sportsman's warehouse,) and one the week before (Sportsman's) and one the week before that (Sportsman's) - no problems, in an out in 15 mins or less.

I wonder if I am either lucky, or the fact that I am buying fairly regularly is helping. Lol.

Probably the same data bank that any other kind of 4473 goes into, thinking it is only the electronic ones is hilarious.

The FFL keeps a data base...in paper form. Guess where all the forms go when they close? Guess who can come/call get the info from the form at any time?

Not doing a digital form only adds one extra step. If they want the info, they will get it.

Unless you only pay in cash (that you didn't get out of an ATM), don't carry a cell phone, don't have a car with GPS, don't post on an open internet forum (oops), they will find out anything they want about you. Not doing a digital 4473 is the least of your worries.

Only delays I see are seller shipping, and FFL letting me know it's arrived (even thought my tracking said that had it two days ago... :evil: .)

Or your ffl keeps your firearm for a month gets arrested and released within 24hrs cuz he's an informant for the atf...oh too soon? just joshin ya
