I guess the idiots running Tucson don't realize that State law supercedes City law.

Not that I agree as I like the state law but that will be the argument on the other side.

It amounts to having to watch your Six as to what you do in Tucson.
You may beat an eventual rap for some BS, because...the State and all...
BUT at what cost to you financially and emotionally?

Yeah I do as it states the Constitution as #1 and the 2nd Amendment is there front and center, so the supremacy clause is in step with the State law, and it's the City that's trying to violate it.

Just like CA, the best advice is to not live or travel to that liberal shithole. Tucson has been a leftist dump for decades, all the Califags moved there in droves since the 80's

Phoenix being a larger and more prosperous city may make it a moot point but ..

I just hope it never gets like it did/is in NY state. NY state is a fairly large piece of dirt .. and yet all the politics and political decrees are basically run by NYC which is pee sized compared to the size of the state. Normal people who live outside of the city are penalized by NYC politics.

I am not sure but I think California is similar.

This is why I was stunned that Biden won Maricopa County. In my mind it left only two possibilities: 1) They cheated, 2) We've already been overtaken by the transplants.

I'd say the latter of the 2. Just look at the housing market in maricopa county over the last few years. No way there's that many Arizonans to be driving all the new builds, or buying up all the real estate at the insane prices things are selling for. Right now it's higher than it's ever been, including pre-2008. I keep thinking it has to be another bubble that's gotta pop again sooner or later. But just keeps going up and up.

Probably right. Half of the license plates in my neighborhood are CA.

Tucson is another victim of Tom Steyer's NextGen Arizona. The current city council was elected with a whopping 13% turnout, most of them non-resident University of Arizona students who aren't legally allowed to vote in AZ.

On the real-estate boom- a major portion of that is from fund managers buying up houses to use a rentals or for resale at a profit. (https://www.wsj.com/articles/if-you-sell-a-house-these-days-the-buyer-might-be-a-pension-fund-11617544801)
