A lot of Life insurance policies don't pay out on suicide. She would've needed to do some homework.

I won’t go too deep on this, but I was very fortunate to have known Boe, albeit a short while (less than 18 months). He was a great guy, and this story does not match his character. I’ve seen a lot of people post some really awful things elsewhere. The man is going to be missed dearly by many, and that family is forever destroyed by whatever happened in that house that night.
