Hi, I need some help. I suffer from very slight tremors. Does anyone else and if so what are some techniques you use to improve and stay consistent while shooting

I have had two friends with "essential tremor." Both were able to shoot just fine, because (according to them) at the moment they pressed the trigger, the tremor stopped. One (now deceased -- he was really sick) said that it was like stutterers who could not speak, but could sing without any problems.

Both of them said that focusing on a really hard grip helped them.

The worse one is my friend who was once a champion-level rifle competitor, but whose hands are now all twisted and deformed from arthritis. He can't hold a pen or a spoon, much less a rifle.

Good luck. It sucks getting sick, and getting old.

I also have essential tremor. I can't even eat a bowl of soup without spilling most of it off the spoon. I understand the frustration. Anyway, when I shoot my handgun, I aim a bit high then let weight of firearm lower it on target. I pull the trigger with the firearm moving. Works for me.

Two handed grip, and put your LEFT index (pointer) finger on the side of the frame, as far forward as you feel comfortable...the further, the better, and you'll see that front sight settle down and stay in one place.

Some neat tech to treat tremors.
