Sen. Martin Quezada tweeted that he witnessed a shooter in the area armed with an AR-15.
"I just witnessed an armed terrorist with an AR-15 shoot up Westgate," he wrote. "There are multiple victims."

This is part of the video the shooter was sharing on social media while they carried it out. They ended the video before it looks like he's going to shoot someone, so it's pretty disturbing even if not very graphic.

The video was on Twitter but is now down. It showed him preparing his rifle earlier in the day, stating his name and that he would be "The Westgate Shooter". He recorded himself opening fire randomly on people, and standing over at least one female victim he had already shot as she pleaded not to be shot again.

The police are reporting that there are only 3 victims known at this time, however, they are going from business to business at Westgate where they have asked people to shelter in place. Hopefully, no one else was hurt. Two people had very minor injuries, and one person was in critical condition.
At least one of the guys over on the BQG group on Facebook knows the shooter. I would have merely copied and pasted it here, but before I could, FB took it all down.

The settings became private and restrictive as FB tried to find ways to destroy gun-based communities on the platform. I just never bothered to remove myself from the group after the gun stuff could no longer be advertized and still get updates of things going on in that community. It has a larger than average latino contingent and is useful to me to keep abreast of anything uniquely going on with latino heritage 2nd Amendment folks.

Yeah, I've been thinking about that. He shot one person in the chest, but he called it quits on the other two after each was shot in the leg. He obviously could have slaughtered that woman on the ground by her car. That with all of the random shooting down the hallway and the fact that he was taken alive, it makes me wonder if it was some really messed up cry for help.
