Yes. You kit up, jock up, what ever you want to call it, just like the real deal. If you hit the plate right the carrier and pouches will catch it. If not, I hope you are wearing your oakley's. Yes both rifles and pistols.

I dont think you know what spall is. It's not a sliver you got in your eye. Infact it would be coming from a direction where your Oakleys protection is very little.
Spall = shrapnel. It probably wont kill you outright like a bullet but it's not to be dismissed like you are.

Why would you purposely send spall into areas with large veins or arteries like neck and upper arms hoping your pouches or bed liner catch it? Since you mentioned it, are there mags in your pouches? In other words I call bullsheit.

I'll give you 100 dollars if you show video of you being shot at/shooting at others in force on force training like you described, i.e. with real weapons and real ammo and AR 500 plates. Then make available a Couple of participants so we can verify. Hell, I even promise not to refer you for a 3 day emergency phych eval.

I dont know of anyone who does force on force training like you described so again I call bullsheit.
