At some point after peace breaks out, yes. But they already smashed the canal with artillery back in September, so it is non-functional now. Crimea is already cut off from that water supply.

Interesting, thanks for the update. Then there will be little or no growing season this year in Crimea. Only famine and war.

Graphic video directly from Prigozhin himself, showing the casualties Wagner is experiencing and calling out the lack of ammunition Russia is failing to provide. 5 days ago he warned that Wagner as a whole was at risk of being eliminated by Ukraine. He is plainly losing his cool, talking about the leadership in ways that usually result in falling out a window to your death.

Click on the video at bottom, as it has the subtitles for you to read what he is saying.

“Look at them, you bitches! (…) you sit in expensive clubs (…) your children make YouTube videos (…) you think you have the right to dispose of their [Wagner fighters] lives (…) they came here as volunteers and died so you could gorge yourselves in your offices.”

The Russian military under Putin is strange by our standards. They have the Private Military Group, Wagner, under the ex-con Prigozhin using prisoners as cannon fodder in the war. Notice in the video that Prigozhin blames Defense Minister Shoigu and Russian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Gerasimov for the losses. There is a lot of finger pointing in the Russian military right now which is split into two camps: the Shoigu/Gerasimov faction and the Prigozhin/Surovikin faction. They are both vying for the favor of their king, Putin. Here is an article on the game of musical chairs being conducted in Putin's military link

Most of the Wagner prisoner/soldiers end up dying but some end up completing their service contracts and are released back into Russia. What could go wrong?

This should not come as a surprise since some of the prisoners are going to be psychopaths who actually belong behind bars.

Per post #22 above where Prigozhin is blaming Shoigu and Gerasimov for Wagner Group's failure to take Bakhmut, he is now saying that he is pulling Wagner out of the fight.

Prigozhin ordered by Russian Ministry of Defense to stay in Bakhmut keep fighting. Prigozhin criticises "The Happy Grandfather" in another rant. Nothing quite like burning your bridges.

And at the same time, Putin pulls other units out, letting Wagner get slowly ground up. Prigozhin has become too much of a potential rival, so Putin needs to ensure he is no hero,...unless he's a dead one, of course.

Here is the video of Ukrainian forces engaging the Russian 72nd Brigade in Bakhmut along with Prigozhin's complaint about the 72nd Brigade retreating and his Wagner forces being killed trying to stop the Ukrainian advance. Denys Davydov in his YouTube channel pointed out that the Ukrainian IFVs appear to be Bradleys. But this is apparently not the case. These are old M-113 APCs per the Kiev Post.

Here is a different source of the same footage showing Ukrainian forces attacking the Russian position:

Here are a couple of videos regarding Ukraine.

The first video is the latest from Wagner's Prigozhin discussing the Special Military Operation war in Ukraine.

The second video is a continuation of the two videos in post #27 above. Evacuation of wounded in Bakhmut.

The pro Kremlin Russian blogger who recently interviewed Prigozhin has been sacked. As part of a power struggle there are elements in Russia trying to sideline Prigozhin who is a shameless self promoter.

Igor Girkin, a pro war Russian blogger, has his own take on Prigozhin and the infighting amongst the Russian elite.

For those who don't know, Igor Girkin is a former FSB officer and former "Supreme Commander of the Donetsk People's Republic." Girkin was also found guilty for the murder of 298 people, convicted of all charges in absentia, and issued a life sentence by a Dutch court for his part in the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 over Ukraine on 17 July 2014.
