22lr Rifle & Pistol matches at Phoenix Rod and Gun Club

The Phoenix Rod & Gun Club is hosting 2 monthly matches on the Small Bore range.

June 2d : NRL22
Targets no further than 100 yds.
Multiple positions with about 30% of shots taken from prone. This varies from month to month, depending on the stage designs.

June 9th: "smallbore steel" match.
Everything from plate racks designed for 22 lr at 25, 50, 75 & 100 yds and smaller reactive steel targets in between.
About 75-80% of shots are from prone position. Bolt & semi auto divisions.

Matches are shot under the shade, schedule may vary.

In addition, the Practical division hosts Steel Challenge matches (all divisions) and a dedicated rimfire only steel challenge match. Any rimfire pistol or carbine will work.

Sign in begins at 1130. Match starts at noon.
If you are not a club member and the gate is closed, we will send someone to check and let you in.
NRL22 matches are shot under the shade, schedule may vary.

Our Small Bore Steel is back on the schedule

Division: Small Bore
Location: Small Bore Rifle Range
Setup and registration at 11am
Match starts at noon.

"mini" plate racks at 100, 80, 60 & 40 yds.
Custom plate rack with targets sized for the 22lr cartridge.
A positional stage on steel targets at 50 (& 100 iirc)
and everyone's favorite, The "SNIPER" stage with steel reactive targets scattered between 40-100 yds.
