A vehicle is indeed a guided missile and thereby a weapon.

However,...the guard placed himself in the only exit path. So unless he had under Florida law some sort of arrest power as the property-owner's agent, he may not be able to claim self-defense from the vehicle used as a weapon. And even if he did have some sort of right to detain the people, he could have used his cruiser to block them in, likely preventing such an escalation.

So... This occurred May 2021 and now good ol Securituh guard Logan Gimbel is going to trial in October:

"Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt announced that Gimbel, 28, has been charged with murder in the second degree with a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon with a firearm, as well as three misdemeanor charges: recklessly endangering another person and two counts of unlawful use of mace in the second degree."
Add to that that Gimbel was not licensed to carry a firearm on the job.
