I copied this at a specific timestamp, but listen from the timestamp for approximately 5 minutes. It's a short interview between Joe Rogan and Steven Rinella, and I think has a small clue-

At this point, it's not about finding the most red state to live, it's about finding the state that's going to go hard blue the slowest, and what states won't be able to enforce the hard blue laws.
Consider Robert Conquest’s Three Laws of Politics, specifically the second point, can be read here - https://www.isegoria.net/2008/07/robert-conquests-three-laws-of-politics/
Any organization not explicitly right-wing sooner or later becomes left-wing.
We have no explicitly right-wing states. They're all squishy. All middle-ground. Bi-partisan. The people in those states may have a tendency for one thing or another, but over time the most red people of the reddest states will look blue when compared to the state of things 40 years prior.
All states are liberalizing. All states in the entire union are becoming left-wing.
It's a cancer.
For instance, Alaska is seeing this influx of libtards in Anchorage, which is going to change the entire state of Alaska. But, regardless of the laws the state adopts, it's not going to change those in the interior, or outside of Anchorage. Given the low population density, and the remoteness, overbearing blue laws will be unenforceable. Arizona is seeing a similar influx, but Arizona is welcoming to these idiots. We also have a high population density, even in more northern or remote regions. The entirety of AZ is going to be blue, and the LEO's willing and able to enforce blue laws, at a much faster rate than the majority of the state of Alaska. Given the inevitable, all states are going blue, Alaska, when it becomes blue, is going to be less enforceably blue than Arizona.
As Ayn Rand wrote in Atlas Shrugged-
There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.
It's inevitable that we're all going to be criminals in one way or another. Some of us might be now. Many people go to bed an innocent man one night, and wake up a criminal the next day due to unjust laws and legislation.
I want to live somewhere where the government doesn't have the power/resources/desire to crack down on quiet criminals that are just keeping to themselves. That can't happen in a city, that can't happen in a strongly blue state, and that can't happen in a state with a high population density.
