Wooden Range bags

I use a variety of things... plastic milk crates for heavy things like sandbags and various shooting stands, laptop bags for targets, staplers, and one for the chrono, ammo cans for... ammo, a larger expedition duffel for my main everyday range gear. A plastic Tupperware tub with lid for throwing a bunch of stuff in (spray paint, ground cloth, extra spotting scope, spikes etc). Target stands, steel, tripods etc all get loaded separately.



I find that loading the truck the night before saves me almost an hour in the morning.

one on wheels for the outdoor range would be nice. I can't seem to find any web sights that are productive.

Many cowboy shooters use a basic 2 wheel dolly/hand truck and milk crates or tool boxes on the dolly

Maybe attend a shoot at Rio Salado for ideas

Those folding wagons are the bomb. Can’t believe how long I went without one. Taking multiple trips to the truck.

My little folding wagon is red as well. A real time saver.

I have a new shooting bag. It has wheels and a handle. It comes with a piece of plywood on the bottom to make it strong. I got it on a Government Website. Sorry I do not know who makes it.....My Buddy uses a Wagon from Home Depot. I think that costs $100.

I see those at the range all the time- always overloaded cuz there's always one more thing to cram in... hope they remembered to take the baby out first...
The wagon carts do a little better and are more stable, but don't hold the long-gun at a nice angle... On level ground they work pretty good but are still a PITA out in the desert and rocks.

ETA... This thread got me think'in (a dangerous activity, I know)
I could replace a number of my tug-em & lug-em containers with one that rolls... so now I need one (thank$ a lot guys...)

In looking at what's available- it seems the garden carts at Wally-World have the best (online) selection.
I notice the prices go from about 80 to over 200 with most in the $100 range. Also capacity goes from 150lb to 1000 for about the same price. wheels are either crappy hard-plastic or pneumatic and bodies are usually either cheap folding tubing/fabric or some sort of metal/mesh frame.
I haven't really studied the undercarriage designs yet but you'd want something sturdy to hold up to the weight and abuse it's bound to get...
What'ch need is one of those old Army mules

I would have to say that if you are looking at this for the range then I would go wagon or cart. That HF case would be cool but the wheels are not really conducive to the uneven and rocky ground that seems to be most of our local ranges. The wagon also allows for not only all the shooting gear but also a cooler to help keep dehydration at bay.. Just my 2 cents

That cart on CL does look like it's up for the job, also a bit big and awkward to load into the back of the pickup (empty).
