I'm looking for a hard body, wooden, heavy plastic, etc range bag/box. I'm at the point where I'm
carrying a lot of stuff to the range and the weight is often not conducive to the standard cloth/canvas range bags. Even one on wheels for the outdoor range would be nice. I can't seem to find any web sights that are productive.

Any insight as to where I could go to search would be appreciated.

Here's one from MTM: https://www.amazon.com/MTM-RBMC-11-Shooting-Range-Box/dp/B001F0GDO6

Here are various ones from Midsouth: https://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/dept/shooting/range-organization/hard-boxes

I bring my little ones folding wagon. They're like 50 bucks at big5. I just drop everything in there including gun cases, ammo cans and just lug it around.

I've been using this for years:

I usually take a shooting bag with four pistols, shooting stand, ammo box, one rifle, and a drink.
Its fantastic.

Cant help with wood but I like the folding wagon idea ...

Here is my two cents and worth less.

I have a klien tool bag I got probably around 1993ish. I worked years in construction with that bag loaded to the gills. It was so damn heavy mere mortals could hardly lift it. It was thrown in gang boxes around the city, I brought my tools on the subway rides. Traveled around manahattan and was on a MULTITUDE of commercial job sites. It lead a hard life.

Even after I went on to other things the bag still humped tools even if it were just to supply crew members. About a year ago a rivet came out of one of the handles. I can easily replace it. After almost 30 years ... its still works

Is it just me or my set up that I can not see amazon links? I have tried to post them before but only get the logo. Does everyone else see links?

Yes sir. Except mine is red. Lol.

I only see the logo.

For wooden carts, look for Cowboy Action Shooting (or SASS) carts.

I have seen shooters use modified child carrier strollers.

What you're describing as a logo is a link. Click on it and it'll take you to the relevant Amazon product.

If you are interested I can make a custom box for you. We can sit down and design something and I’ll build it. The only limits are your wallet and imagination.

One of the guys I sometimes shoot with has one of these and he has a lot of gear packed in it. He still drags a couple of soft bags along but he got this because he was shooting at a range where you had to take all your gear from behind the fence to the firing line and the wheeled case helped.

Here's the link:

I live up in the Prescott area. If you happen to find your way up here for whatever reason, check out High Country Guns. They have one or two wood carts for sale. Every time I go there they are right there for you to inspect. They appear to be similar to the type that SASS shooters use. If interested I can take a photo of them and send it to you next time I go there.

might find some examples on the great interwebs, and reverse engineer them for a build, i do this on a lot of wood products i make in my wood shop, on occassion my engineering does need tweaking, but it gets done to the product i need for my use. Have found other examples will provide a lot of insight on do's and don'ts or I gotta have's

Mine is Dillon blue.

Rigid, DeWalt and Milwaukee all make portable toolboxes with handles and casters.
I use Eberlestock range bags and have yet to tear one. Pricey, but built like a tank.
If you find yourself taking rifles and pistols with ammo all the time, Google stroller to gun buggy ideas. When I would shoot 3 Gun, a lot of the guys did this. There’s attachments that go on the frame that allow you to strap down your long guns plus places for handguns. And if you get a nicer stroller, they can handle a hundred+ lbs of equipment
