Wolf T91 upper

Any one have experience with Wolf T91 uppers?

I have seen mostly good reviews, but any local have issues with them?

My friend has one and he loves it. I am tempted to buy one myself. Only thing I remembered is that its a little front heavy.

I thought these uppers looked interesting when I first saw them, does anyone know if the front sight is removable?

Do you plan on running an optic or irons?

I have heard / read you can’t just throw any AR rear sight on there and be good to go. I believe you will need a specific T91 rear sight or you have to replace the front sight post (not the entire front sight, just the post). But last time I looked into this, both the rear sight and front sight post were out of stock.

I had one. It was ok, nothing phenomenal. Sold it.

I have one. It’s ok. Not chrome lined if that matters. You can drive one roll pin out to remove front sight if you wanted an unobstructed view with a scope. I bought it for something different and it was pretty cheap for a complete upper. It has run 100 percent through about 400 rounds.

It has a gas piston right?

Yes short stroke gas piston, has some relationship to the Taiwanese military T91, I'm surprised there not more popular, seems like a fair price for a piston upper.

Thanks for sharing that the front sight can be removed by driving out a roll pin.

That's why its front heavy. It is a gas piston setup
