Hello All, anyone recommend someone Scottsdale/Mesa/Tempe who does work cutting a barrel down to 19" or so and then a chamfer? Son is wanting that "trench gun" look. Thank you!

Good Day!
I recently cut down a damaged Win 1300. It had the 28 inch barrel but has suffered a hunting accident (ran over) and the last few inches of barrel was damaged.
I cut a dowel to 18 1/2 inches and used it to gauge the correct length (I do not want to get to know the ATF that much) and then used a cut off blade.
Then I ordered a shotgun muzzle facing tool from

They are very helpful and have videos to get you going. You can even rent the tool for the choke set up of your choice.

Measure the barrel, use a pipe cutter, cut the pipe at the desired length, dremel barrel end to smooth. Done. I've done a few, and even threaded them for a muzzle brake, it's nothing.

I use a sawzall and then clean it up with a belt/disc sander.
I have quite a few of them over the years.
The hardest part is getting the bead back on right , but it's not too difficult.

I used a 12V Milwaukee band saw for my first one, and started using a pipe cutter after that for a cleaner, more even cut.
