In the search and struggle for equality .. we brought back segregation??

NFL 2021 season will include Black national anthem, social justice messages again: report

https://www.foxnews.com/sports/black-national-anthem-social-justice-messages-nfl-season

Guess I just dont get it.

From what I'm seeing from the Black community, they overwhelmingly want segregation.

I'm okay with that, if that's what they want, that's what they should get.

Ditto, if they want to be separated, then we should find some land and put them on a reservation, with the caveat they can't have anything the white man has created. Or, we could simply send them to Liberia like we were supposed to years ago :o

Ahh...I believe I'm going to disagree with this notion. I can't state it categorically, or provide facts, but...

From what I've observed, the majority of the black community is relatively content with their status in the U.S., and only wishes to be treated with the same respect, dignity, rights, and privileges afforded to any other citizen. No more, no less.

It's the highly vocal segment of the black population...the malcontents, those who believe they are privileged, and are owed much, who would like to be segregated. They're just as racist (if not more so) than any KKK member ever was, and they believe in the superiority of the black race over whites.

Most of the blacks that I've encountered seem to dislike, if not outright loathe and detest, this highly vocal minority within the black community. They are hardworking, honest, fair-minded people, and they are embarrassed to no end by their "uppity" brethren. (I know that word seems racist, but I've heard it used on more than one occasion, by blacks, to describe this vocal minority of dumbasses.)

And, that's the entire aim of the vocal minority. If you've come to believe that that's the mindset of the black community, as a whole...then they're winning. It's just one more wedge that the left wants to hammer into place, between good black and white American citizens, to further the racial divide, and lead us down the path towards a race war, and/or class war.

Don't buy into the false narrative.

I agree.

They are being hurt by the white anarchist and liberals that have joined the fringe. It increases the noise, support and overall numbers of the knuckleheads.

It's all a shame but... I don't think self segragation is the answer and I would question the support from the left for insisting that people qualify their Americanism as outsiders and not included in the American dream and potential prosperity.

I firmly blame the left and it's policies dating back over 60 years for the turmoil and there is no end in sight.

Segragation is not the answer. Separate but equal didn't work and people fought and in some instances gave their life to fight it only for present day idiots to demand a separate national anthem.

Doesn't make sense. Why ostracize yourself. The libs love it. It feeds right into the plan. You don't need separation.. you need to claim your piece of the pie. WE are Americans.

I believe this. I experience this on a very personal level.

That hasn't been my experience at all. I've found very few blacks who don't follow the Democrat party line, and we engage in wonderful philosophical discussions on this very topic. I've found the conservatives are the smallest minority, and the rest would be happy to see segregation again, and claim there is "systemic racism".

one only has to look at the history of self rule, it has not ended well, example South Africa and well other joints, its fact not fiction :o

I did my Junior and Senior High School years in a predominantly black school and I've got to agree with Clyde based upon those years.

Also, I see almost no members of the black community stepping up and condemning those who are the segregationists.

So, instead of relying on conjecture, I'll believe what I see.

This has been my experience as well.

NFL wants to play a black national anthem? Just another reason to watch Rocky and Bullwinkle dvd's on Sundays.

Watch yer 6!

If that's what the fans and sponsors want, more power to them.
It doesn't bother me. I stopped watching when the kneeling started.

If I was a black person, I would be glad for slavery... because without slavery, my ancestors wouldn't have been brought here... my ancestors wouldn't have been freed by WHITE men, and I wouldn't have been born here and be a CiTIZEN and be privileged, and wouldn't be able to be racist to white people...

Disclaimer: I am not WHITE, I am a LEGAL citizen who came here legally and waited for my papers for 8 years. I respect everyone, I don't look at skin color.

Black people should get down on their knees every day and thank God they were brought here and didn't stay in the shiathole they came from.
