In the "conspiracy" case to kidnap Michigan governor Whitmer by six "white supremacists", two copped a plea deal to testify against the others four. The jury has come back. 2 complete acquittals and 2 hung jury.

And this is the most important reason to register to vote and why we should always accept the summons

If you do a deep dive on the case, it turns out that a large amount of the total group involved in the plot were FBI informants...none of which were arrested. Glad to see the people charged got a fair trial.

I know, it's ironic isn't it. Everything we say the government is illegally doing is a conspiracy theory and everything we do is a conspiracy plot.

Yes…I got a notice for Maricopa, maybe 2 and half years ago (pre pandemic). I wore a suit. There were people wearing a mix of pajama bottoms, shorts, t-shirts, jeans, etc. When I went through security screening, they acted like I may have been in the wrong place, maybe looking for the insurance salesman convention center. By the time 2 of the bailiffs got done talking to me, they booted me, as they had enough bodies for the day.

I wonder what the two turncoats are thinking right now. They agreed to go to jail for testifying against the others. Now they are still in jail, but two of the others got off free, and the other two will get a new trial. If those two had not agreed to testify, it's probable that none of them would have gone to jail. They gambled; they lost.

The guy who was a high placed if not leader of the stop the steal is 100% co operating in one of the many investigations.

I get called about every 3-4 years. Not sure why. Finally got picked to serve last time in Gilbert on a DUI case. Was really interesting and rewarding. I have been picked for a murder case but the case was estimated to last 6 weeks so i had to request to be excused. I own a small business and could not give them 6 weeks. When i told the judge he said what do you do when your on vacation? I said i don't know ive never been on a 6 week vacation..... Everyone in the courtroom laughed. I was excused. My wife gets picked al the time too.

I wrote asking for health exemption, what vetting they do I do not know but that was the end of it. Got a letter with perm exemption. Good tip while on jury duty downtown, the 10th floor of city hall has a great cafeteria (really) and they take money from everyone city worker or not. Breakfast also starts about 6am but may be over by court show up time.

In 2019, after 10 years of trying, I drew a late season Kaibab deer permit. Received a notice to appear for jury duty right smack in the middle of the hunt. Wrote letter and asked for an exemption. Sent copies of the tag, too. By God! They granted it! Ended the exempt with a nice "Good Luck". I finally got a good Kaibab deer.

Dang I had to pay my Doc to write a letter to exempt me.
This was full covid season and I did not want to be exposed to so many people.
Yes I have done my duty many times and never made it to a trial.
My wife got picked for the first time and got on a trial.

I've served twice on a jury and I just turned 30 a month ago. My dad gets jury duty every 4-5 years and my mom has never had jury duty. They moved here in 1986. I guess its the luck of the draw.

I was on the federal grand jury for a year.
We met every other Wednesday for a total of 26 days.
We heard over 1100 cases in that year.

I am going to go out on a limb and say , more than half of them involved an illegal.

Wouldn't every Wednesday for a year produce a total of 52 days?

Correct.
It was every other Wednesday.
My mistake.
I fixed it.

There was another quorum that met on the other Wednesday.

I'm not sure what criteria they use for calling people in for jury duty. I've only been called once but was able to get an exemption due to travel I'd had already booked. They where accommodating in changing it but since then I've not been called in. My wife, on the other hand, gets called for jury duty every few years like clockwork.
