Just keep them in the Mountain. I cant stand the ones who have the yoga pants for men and ride in the road slowing traffic especially on the 89a going to Jerome. The only good thing is they are fun to roll coal on. LMAO

I ride... most often the Sonoran Preserve.

Well, I gave that up years ago once it finally struck me how dangerous it was. However, I never did understand drivers who seem to be so put out by a bicycle and rider on the road? Especially a-holes who feel the need to get as close as possible to rider, honk their horns, or "roll coal" in their big manly diesel trucks (i'm not against them, I've had two Dodge/Cummins myself). Especially on roads like 89a PV-Jerome, which are so lightly traveled. Very easy for a driver to swing wide around a single cyclist or two on that road. That was one of my favorite routes when I used to ride road.

I had a bad crash on White Spar between Wilhoit and Prescott several years back, that did not involve any vehicles. I was right back on the bike once I was recovered, but it really started getting in my head how dangerous it was, especially with all the distracted drivers on cell phones out there. Right around that time I discovered mountain biking and haven't looked back since.

Cool! I haven't ridden there yet. I live in Prescott so it's hard to justify driving somewhere else to ride.

I do. Mainly trail 100 around dreamy draw park. I have a small zippered case that attaches to the frame and can fit a small .22 in it.

Good to see others ride too. I have a Pivot switchblade that has been my main bike. I mostly ride at San tan, but often hit up south mountain or anywhere in Tucson if I can get away long enough.

That said, I always carry an xds .45 holstered in a g-code holster on my hydration pack. I've never had an issue of it bouncing out, even on rowdy/rocky areas on my full squish.

I am also to fat and lazy for that, but here is the rig that I use for all of my outdoor activities and it would work great for "MTB"

Been riding for a long time. I don't always carry when riding but if I do, it's in a zippered pocket in my camelbak. Not the most accessible but it's a compromise. I feel the trails and type of people you encounter out on them are lower risk than the parking lots and other parts of town. I never found a more convenient way to carry that I was comfortable with for my riding style.

Switchblade is a great bike. Yours 27.5+ or 29er?
