I got a letter begging for money from "Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms" today. I never heard of the organization. My guess is they got my info from either the NRA or the Second Amendment Foundation. Anyone know anything about the group?

They are a legit 2A organization and have been around for some time.
A little research indicates it is indeed a legitimate 2A organization, closely associated with the 2A Foundation. The following link raises one of my concerns:

That concern is the amount of $ sent vs the amount actually spent on the cause. The link is obviously an argument to donate instead to the NRA. Given the present controversy over that idea, I am rethinking the situation.

The NRA. None of the other organizations are in a position to do much of anything at this point so giving them money is a waste of time. Take care of business and get the people we need elected, then finish settling the NRA's problems.
Those are the people who put on the Gun Rights Conference every year.
