Yep, not hard to carry at all. Just a bit on the heavy side, and light on capacity. I carried an Officer-size 1911 in .45 for years, but eventually succumbed to the dark side and started carrying HK-flavored Tupperware in 9mm. Much lighter and twice the capacity. The advancement in 9mm SD ammo technology helped with the decision.Eleroo said:I wouldn't expect a 1911 would be hard to carry since it is a single stack.
