Mine is a lever action Winchester model 94 in a 30-30. It’s sexy looking, accurate as hell, and can take down almost anything. Lots of fun to shoot. I wouldn’t mind putting a scope on it but I’m on the fence there

What is your favorite rifle that you own or are wanting to buy? I’m bored....

I had a Marlin 1894C lever action 357mag which was my favorite but unfortunately I sold it.

Marlin444 with a shortened (16") barrel.

My preferred carry in heavy timber/mountain, back country packing.

I had to google that one. Very nice! Love to see another lever action!

When I saw this post I immediately thought of one of my lever guns. It must be a popular choice despite being an antiquated design as I saw most were picking a lever action as well.

So despite the fact I shoot my semi auto and bolt action rifles more, if I had to pick a favorite, it would likely be my old Marlin 1894 in 357/38.

brandyspaw I typically shoot my semi auto guns more often as well, but nothing beats the lever action for me

Mine is a pre-safety, micro groove edition, circa 1976. I replaced the butt stock with a hollow black synthetic stock, to save weight, or, to increase weight by filling with lead shot. I also removed the fore-end, and left it bare,... I like the look and feel of the first edition Henry's from the 1860's, that didn't have an added fore-end.

I load my 444 down to around 2,000 foot pounds of energy with a 300 grn boolit, I cast, which is just on the edge of my recoil pain threshold, that I can shoot all day, if needed.

I have a Marlin 336 30-30 and a Marlin 1894C .357, It would be tough to decide between the two so I wont 8-)

I have a 25imp Krag built on a Krag action. This is a rifle I dreamed of for more than 30 years before I finally was able to have mine built.

Wow lots of lever action love! I kind of dig my Marlin 336 TK Texan, Win. 94 in .32 Special,
and of course the AR. Hard to pick just one as a favorite

Out of all my firearms, I love my Swiss K31 rifles. They really built a great accurate firearm back in the day and I love the straight pull action. The K11 surplus ammo used to be very inexpensive but it’s getting harder to find now

Whats not to love!!!

My first hunting companion used a lever 32 spl all his life, as his father did before him, with the same gun,.... good caliber, imo!

I consider the lever action my premier heavy timber tactical rifle. Throw a squaw bag over my shoulder, with a couple hundred rounds in it, feed as I fire, no mags to carry, no empty mags to deal with.

The only weapon I would consider trading for, would be a pump action in Marlin444, my caliber of choice.

What's not to love!!!

Probably my K31. 1937, gorgeous/unissued shaped. Those swiss knew how to build a rifle.

I have owned quite a few over the years, and finally acquired a pristine one, with the bayonet.

A man of my own heart! I own 3 and love them. I also have a K1911. Have you shot one of those yet?
