I was not commenting on the endorsement, but on the interesting technique. I think she has been taking shooting lessons from the same person who gave Fauci pitching lessons.

I wouldn't fault her the tea cup. Whole lotta people were taught that way. Damn I think even my cop buddies back in the day may have been taught that way with their issue 38's.

The fact that her hand is holding the gun at the very bottom of the grip usually tells me (fear of the gun)
My old a$$ wife won't pick up a gun with getting her web locked up as high as it can go.

If you are appealing to the golfer vote, get somebody to show you how to hold the club.
If you are appealing to the motorcyclist vote, get somebody to show you how to sit on a motorcycle.
If you are going to pose for a picture holding a guitar or saxophone or a pair of drumsticks, get somebody to show you how to hold them so you don't look like a doofus.
Better yet, don't pose for the picture.
Anybody remember the picture of Obama shooting a shotgun, to show us what a sportsman he was? Yeah, don't do that.
And I do fault her for the teacup, not to mention the low grip. The whole picture just screams "This is the first time I have ever held a gun. Quick, take the picture so I can let go of this icky thing." I bet she posed for the picture, but never actually fired the gun.
Bottom line, it didn't send the message she intended to send.

One thing I strongly disagree with her on though, is the Arizona Land part in the "issues". The no target shooting on state land issue is total bullshit, and until that is changed; returning more Federal land to the state is a really bad idea.

I dont get to excited about someones grip or stance or ???? I dont expect that everyone has progressed from gun owner to gun nut like us here and in the end ... if you can tea cup or hold it one handed and shoot well .. I dont judge.
It wasnt until some 5 years or so ago that I finally made the transition from thumb over thumb to thumbs forward. It is an improvement but it was hard to give up something I had done for years. My first love is revolver and it was natural for me. I wont say I am tactical ted but .. I shot pretty well thumb over thumb and never worried I could use it effectively in a fight need be.
Handguns right into the 60's were trained as one handed. The handgun was originally designed as a one handed weapon.
However that weird low grip is the sign of someone afraid of firearms.
Oh .. and the photographer should be shot ... what a piss poor photo.

I am not saying don't vote for her. All I am saying is, if you are going to publish a photo of yourself shooting a gun, playing a guitar, swinging a golf club, or anything else, then make sure it is a photo that doesn't make you look like a doofus. If you are appealing to the golfer voters, and you have a horrible swing, then don't publish photos of you swinging, just pose standing next to a bag of clubs.

I can understand the wariness of the people here, how many politicians will say, do, or get any photo op they can to try and garner votes.
It’s nice to see politicians pose with firearms, but a healthy dose of skepticism can be a good thing, especially the way some of those seeking election have few scruples, and even less integrity.
At least Wendy is the real deal as far as firearms and love of veterans go, not saying she’s perfect, but a damn sight better than most of the others out there.
