Everyone open carried, kids all took guns to school for wood projects hunting or even machining classes. No one pointed and squealed like a pod person over a gun showing.

Funny that you should mention this.

I went to High School in Benson in the 80's. We all had guns at school. Hell, if you drove your truck, or your dad's truck to school (as most did), there was a rifle rack in the window with a rifle or shotgun, or both. Nobody batted an eye and we never had any "gun violence". Many of us refinished the stocks in wood shop or created racks or gun cabinets as our projects.

Times have certainly changed, we can't turn back time, but we sure can relish the past, when things made more sense.

Good for AZ.

I was at a picnic where another Californian was lamenting that they had a bottle thrown at their head in Prescott Valley, and I told him the same thing.

If Arizonans were less hospitable and welcoming of all the Californian waste, it might not be purple, or go blue in the next 8 years.

Good for AZ? I was told you would show up. So you think even if people have the same views as you, if their from California they deserve violence or vandalism?

He was spot on about the 29 palms fag.

I apply the same logic to Californian scum invading other states as I do Trump's travel ban.

Trump's travel ban didn't say that all people from such and such places or regions are bad. The logic was that the risk was too great to allow people from such and such places or regions, because the probability was that they were bad.

California is the same way. The probability that a Californian is going to be "conservative enough" is very low, especially since they stayed long enough to allow it to go where it went.

As conservative or liberty clinging I've found most "conservative" Californians, there's still something buggered in the head. They believe stupid crap like ALL guns should be locked up all the time, or criminals shouldn't have guns, or they support the NRA, or they think people should have training before they carry a gun, or they believe in that "Thin Blue Line!!!" (Not knowing those are the jack boot thugs towing the line in places like CA and VA).

The other thing is, regardless of how conservative a man might be in a relationship, their wife or kids are usually deeply infected with liberal disease. So even if the stupid boomer is conservative AF, they did more harm bringing their stupid coolaid drinking mentally ill family.

It makes me happy that you were told I would show up. I wish Californians were told how unfriendly and crappy the citizens of Arizona are in general, prior to moving here, and hopefully then less would come.

You say logic but assume the Puck out of everything. I’m glad your happy, but in all reality you are not. I’m ok with that.

By the way alienating and infighting is how Ca fell to the Dems! Not indoctrination! If we loose our rights here, it will be because of infighting and alienation. I’m sure one person for sure won’t be able to wrap their head around that. If you are into running people off and not educating, You’ll get what you give. Learn history or be doomed to repeat it.

PV Highschool early 80s I think. First day of quail season we were checking out a new shotgun one of the guys got for a little trip to what's now north Scottsdale but then perfect quail country. Anyways security and teachers are walking by doing their thing ignoring us and the guns till I pulled out a bottle of root beer that came in a bottle that looked like the short neck beer bottles. You would have thought someone screamed gun near the president. I had 6 or 7 all over me before I was done taking a drink. Lol.

Couldn't care less about the gun. Then again it wasnt too far removed from the football team playing in cowboy boots so..

Good job engaging the content of my reply. I'm saddened to see such a lackluster response, but that's something you Californians have a lot of practice doing, screaming at the sky and not debating anything.

Congratulations living up to my expectations.

People are too stupid to be educated.

Thank you government education.

It seems you're the one that needs to learn history. You know this slow boil? This dancing with socialism? The national debt? It all happened before.

And then Rome fell.

You think you're helping or changing anything? You're not. You're making it worse.

What am I going to do in all this? I'm moving to the hills, in the middle of nowhere. With extremely low population density. I'll raise my family, shoot guns, and stay off everyone's radar.

I might pop my head back up after coronavirus 2.0 wipes out half the population on earth. Or after you dumb poo slinging apes wipe each other out.

Weenis,

What are you going to do when you get to the new place and they reject you because you're from Arizona?

And yes, I did have the privilege of telling off an Arizona native who moved in around me in Alaska. Ended up telling him to go back to Arizona.

You whine and bitch about others more than anyone else and yet your answer to your whining and bitching is to run away from it and hide ?
I have never seen a post from you that wasn't whining and bitching ?
Where are you going to run to when they come to where your little hidey hole is ?
Wherever it is , I doubt you will be missed here.

Then you're not looking at enough of my posts. I post a lot of pictures of sweet firearms.

1000 yards out.

Good, I'm not looking to be missed, especially with what AZ is made up of.

I'll tell them to go fly a kite and be happy i'm here. If they still have a problem with it, we can fight or something.

That's good, makes me happy. We should take more pride in our state and be wary of out of staters. I think the founders would be proud.

It's time for an Arizona plate.
Changing the subject.
Maybe a suggestion would be that all Az gun owners carry an empty pistol OWB. And their other weapons like normal. That way the anti-2a zealots would move to where they felt comfortable. I heard New York is a great place, or somewhere else.

I think we may have gotten a bit to broad. I don't think ALL people from California are screaming liberals. Its pretty easy to say move out of California if you aren't a screaming liberal but if you have a good job and other roots .. its not just lets jump on a bus and leave town.

I know for an absolute fact .. not all people from NYC are screaming liberals .. Screaming liberals just make the loudest and most annoying sounds.

Having said that .. back to the Original Post... which I admit I take issue with.

Cars get keyed and tires get slashed in parking lots ALL OVER America every single day of the week.

EVERY DAY! You may slight some nut ball you didn't even realize you slighted. You look like someones ex girlfriend, you parked so someone couldn't get in their car. Who knows but it happens pretty regular.

The original post leaping to "Its because of my Cali plates" is just the kind of "I am a victim" " Ive been bullied" shit that makes me want to vomit as a rule and then to blame it on Political or location differences with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to lead someone to that conclusion ... well .. I hope I am wrong about the original poster but .. its just the kind of shit that can get a brother disliked and its the kind of person from Cali or otherwise that I have no use for.

You came to a local gun board .. which are usually filled with right leaning/hard right people and whined that some deplorable keyed your car. Not gonna make many friends.

If they keyed .. "go home you California piece of Sh!T" I would have been sympathetic but all he did was cry about the fictitious evil stupid vindictive deplorables of AZ WITH NO PROOF OF MOTIVATION!

The inference is that people who live in AZ are so hillbilly and unhinged that the mere sight of a California plate makes them commit criminal acts.

Just what a liberal from Cali would say!!

the lack of ability to come together as a force to over come the influx of liberals and future voting chances will eventually cause the loss of any battle to keep our guns, welcoming like minded individuals form other states, no matter where they fare from is a boon for our goal, and in agreement, a reasonable amount of neophytes area conservative and sympathetic to our cause, alienating them only creates an atmosphere of stupid. and of course its just my opinion

In my 72 times around the sun, and the years i was aware of the need to remain conservative, the state has changed, as many here know, one doesn't have to be a native to have seen it, only have lived here for a few decades.
Again in that time, most we met at the open carry dinnas, and azcdl functions have come from other states, leading me to believe its possible not all are liberals and idiots from the west side lands or even some of the east side. I know of quite a few in the inter parts of cali who are very conservative and dow want to move out, but as with most of us, family , bizness or something of an important nature keeps them there, but at some age most do end up removing themselves from that yoke.
not advocating leinancy by any means, but open minded does come to mind in making new and many friends from far away places.
Not making excuses, but i get it, and on occassion do float my stick with the attitude of go home, and am vocal when i'm sure of the avenue.

our goal, unless we come together on this one cause of keeping our goods, will not succeed,
just an observation.
so carry on

It would be funny if you ended up with Steve in 29 Palms as you neighbor, that would be funny.
