This sure looks like DIAS to me, I'm not sure how it's forcing a reset, but, I'd have to have one to try it out.

It does look very similar to a DIAS, but after looking at the videos and the mechanical drawings, I don't think it is. Upon the BCG returning to battery, the top lever is tripped, which the actuates the lower cam leg to trip the disconnector, forcing the 'reset'. Keep your finger pressure on the trigger, and the firing cycle continues.

I'd be interested in getting one, but I'm only paying cash for it in person. I emailed him to see if he is planning on attending any gun shows.

I think you are missing the point...cash is not traceable and buying in person means it doesn't go through the mail. It's only a matter of time until the ATF crawls up this guys a-hole, and I'd prefer my name to not be on any invoices.
